About Susan

I have always loved dolls, sewing and embroidery. My mother taught me to sew as a young girl, and making clothes for my dolls was my first endeavor. As a pre-teen, I started making my own clothes and doing hand embroidery. For my wedding, I designed my wedding gown and sewed my trousseau. Shortly thereafter I ventured into interior design and custom home décor items, followed by teaching knit clothing construction, dolls and other sewing techniques.

The last several years have been spent doing freelance work in the doll industry. Most recently machine embroidery has become a favorite pastime. Now I have come full circle and decided to publish my patterns to share what I have learned over the years.
