Classes

I am currently teaching classes on-line at Quilt University. Have you tried on-line classes yet? It’s a fun way to learn and you have all your sewing/quilting tools right there at home. You can work at your own pace when you have time (day or night) and there’s plenty of time (5 weeks) to complete the class. As the instructor, I will be available to answer any questions you may have during that time.

For more information, go to Quilt University.

I hope to see you there!

Broderie Perse Class

Broderie Perse is an interesting and easy appliqué technique. The class project is shown below. There will also be plenty of other samples, ideas and techniques that will be offered in the class. A wall hanging like this would make a great gift!

Displaying Your Quilts Class

This class offers something for every quilter! Are your finished quilts piled up in a corner, in a closet or layered on top of a guest bed? There are three lessons that will help you to find unique ways to display your quilts in your home.

You will find suggestions for small, medium and large size quilts, including quilts that have odd shapes. The ideas work for all styles of quilts from traditional pieced quilts to art style quilts. There is also a section on displaying quilts using an artist canvas which is a newer trend in quilting.

Each lesson will offer several ideas for you to try, complete with instructions and detailed photos. As you continue to make more quilts, the ideas presented in this class will make a great reference guide.
